I’ve read harada’s works in my adolescence and I’m now coming back to read them again. I’ve now realized being a victim of csa works like these helped me cope and the difference from her works versus other slop on this site is that it leaves you uncomfortable! that’s exactly how it should be, she never glorifies rape.
People react to rape differently in fiction but it's not fair that harada is always at the bottom when they never romanticized rape. Yes some of her characters have rape kink (that exists so pls be knowledgeable) but harada depicts characters who are traumatized by rape realistically (at least for me) as someone who can relate, harada makes her characters so human. Where I'm from, drug crimes can get you killed but rape cases gets you victim blamed. I'm just saying that because of Harada I got to heal a part of me, some of her characters make me relate. Even if you condemn harada, pls know they at least comforted even one soul
