Kloff never loved Rapiel, he only married him to spite Aeroc, especially because they shared a resemblance. Kloff wanted Aeroc from the beginning, he just let his pride and internalized homophobia get in the way. He was low-key jealous of Aeroc's wealth and status too. Rapiel's death was just an excuse for him to finally carry out his disgusting and depraved desires. I really hate that Aeroc didn't leave the Teiwind estate as soon as Kloff started acting suspicious, especially when he gave him those drugs.
