Yeah good thing I read the novel first before the manhwa. At first it’s following the pacing in the novel till everything got fast forward specially the part where the explosion of the house happened. In the novel the reconciliation didn’t happen as fast as here in the Manhwa. Soohan was so confused and conflicted of his feelings towards his husband, there were times he felt jealous of his own self who’s honest to his husband. So it was like a tag of war like stay out of sight and why are you distancing yourself. Then he gets this dream of talking to his self who’s honest openly loves his husband. I think what they didn’t cover here is when his self told him that subconsciously he has been loving his husband far longer he had known he just couldn’t admit it couldn’t admit it because he’s blinded by jealousy towards his life. And that the reason it was easy for the version of him who couldn’t remember to admit that he loves him is because deep down that’s his real feelings. The attempted raped sealed the deal why he hated him so much. He thought it was his husband who attempted to raped him that’s why he despised him more. When he had come to terms to his own feelings it wasn’t as fast that he instantly warm up to him. He’s still cold but slowly warming up. In the manhwa everything happened so fast.
Hahaha good thing we were able to read the novel first. I was really excited when they serialized the novel to a mahwa. The first half was ok till we reached the second half when things just got fast
Forwarded. It even has a side stories in the novel where they visited the place where Soohan studied. The did the dead there for the first time after Soohan gave birth. But they didn’t include that the Manhwa.
hey this is late but since you read the novel, can I ask if it went into detail about Soohan's old phone? like was he actually cheating on Yeonseo while they were married? what was up with those voice messages? it was on my mind the whole time while I was reading and the manhwa never brought it up again...
Nope he wasn’t cheating the photos and voice messages were real. He had sexual relationships with other alphas all with consent with no strings attached but all those happened when they weren’t still married. So basically he never cheated and he never been to a serious relationship too. About his husband. It was heavily implied that he subconsciously have feelings for him since long it’s just his resentment due to envy is bigger than his love for him at that time that’s why he couldn’t admit to that fact. Plus fueled by the attempted taped which he thought was his husband the feeling of love didn’t sail because of that and he only hated him from then on till the accident and he loss his memories that the feelings of love he subconsciously repressed resurfaced.
ah ok so those voice msgs were before they got married? good to know cuz him cheating while married would be so icky for me. and ya I hear the novel had more details so it’s a shame the manhwa seemed to rush towards the ending.
thanks for letting me know! love ur username btw, can’t wait for BotWN season 2 to start :D

ok i have no idea wtf happened after chapter 57 onward. this whole big reveal of jin-oh or whatever the heck his name is, and the explosion, like wtf. and why is everyone saying this was so peak? are these fake reviews? nothing made sense! and the photos literally revealed nothing so i have no idea what the heck the guy was thinking when he sent them. its almost like the author just gave up and came up with a ridiculous ending.
