girl u dont understanddd. this is one of the first bl ever that left u reminiscing after watching it and its old as hell. back then bl wasnt rlly popular so when ppl found out about this was like a hidden gem. u gotta watch the anime version of it. the story is more like a short movie not a whole 40 episode so it hits differently
So real girl, I still remember watching it secretly in bedroom constantly worried i might get caught. But it's one of my first BLs so it has special place in my heart
Ikr i remember searching like hell to watch it 6 years ago. It's like a classic bl that everyone has watched. No complaints will be accepted for this one.
I am not trying to start an arguement here but I am really just expressing my opinion. Even if it's supposed to be a short story it could've been elaborated into most 10 chapters cause the ending really just feels so empty in my opinion like it doesn't really hit any differently. But is it really a must to watch the anime or I just really don't get the story at all?

i think it depends on when u started to read/watch BL tbh. if u started early u would know that bl wasnt easy to access like nowadays. an example would be like ppl that started anime way before it was a thing would like one piece, naruto, or bleach rather than the new gen that like jjk or demon slayer. this one bl can be seen like that too. bc back then to watch animated bl u have to rlly search for it bc authors wouldnt promote them like now since ppl were still narrow minded and ykw back then. thats why it hits different. but if u alr watch the new bl where they started hunching in the first chapter then this one prolly wont make u feel the same as it did to us.
oh and i forgot to answer ur question. i think its better if u watch the animated version of it. they have more emotional chemistry in there than the comic version. the voice actors and the background music made it feels completely different in my opinion bc the anime came out before the comic one. theres another work from the same author too which is MIGNON and the animated version of it is also better than the comic version.

Yeah, i agree. Its like this whole story is summary of long love story. Its like watching love trailers instead of the movie itself. And kinda cliche.
I know what you mean... Tbh I didn't felt like it was a great story the first time I saw the anime and manhwa, but recently I've read the novel... and, daamn, It is crazy good! It had me kicking my blanket the whole time! It's a little upseting that the other midia about this story is so shallow >.<
I am not really strict with my judges and takes but this manhwa is kinda mid to be honest. After reading it and thinking over it, we know so little about the characters story as in they're just rushing to end this like it really has potential to be a longer story and better. I just like it's really bland and I don't really feel attached to the characters at all.
This story could've been refined into a way more deep and meaningful one by going more in to the backstory of the MC and ML, the MC's past, and more into the problem he deals throughout his life because of this lung problem cause I feel like it's so rushed with how his lung problem was cured so fast and no more depths into the problem.
Saying this may be kinda harsh but seriously, the story telling is really shallow. Big room for improvement honestly.
