Impossible to tell. the webtoon adaptation "strayed" from OG Novel path.

I believe the novel readers called the webtoon adaptation "an entirely new series altogether"...
Just imagine webnovel LotM/CoI, you knew how the novel went, but then they decided to focus on Klein's being a virgin or Lumian's messy night life as the theme for their anime/douga adaptation
Ohhhh, I hate when they do that, like the story was loved because of the original novel and now you change it, leaving out so many key details that add to the story’s charm:(
I'm not familiar w/LotM, but... damn. That kinda makes me sad cause i prefer reading manwha over web novels

then imagine in detective conan world, the OG comic version focused on problem/mystery/case solving, but in anime version it was all about LOVE (づ￣ ³￣)づ
