I don't expect a complicated situation to be resolved overnight. My issue isn't the slow burn, it's that this season has often felt like it's spinning its wheels. Juheon spent so long rejecting Dohu, and even now he's still keeping him at arm's length and refusing to let him in. It feels like every step forward is followed by two steps back.
This chapter didn't really move the story much either. We got Dohu realizing that "Mom" and "Mother" aren't the same person, and then the director saying she wants to make a deal with Juheon... but we don't even find out what the deal is. Why leave that as a cliffhanger instead of just revealing it this chapter? It honestly feels like something that could have been included without hurting the pacing.
I still have faith that the author will deliver, but I also think it's fair for readers to say the pacing has been frustrating. Slow burn and dragging aren't the same thing.

ya'll if you can't handle the slow burn, just marinate. Don't sit here complaining. Why did ya'll expect a situation this complicated to be resolved quickly? Isn't it better if the author takes their time to properly address everything instead of rushing
