agreed, i am a little mad at the story at the moment, the ML isn't being held accountable in his actions at all. The FL does want to avoid him, but she holds no grudges against him, which she really should. If he had stood up for her even once in the previous life, she wouldn't have suffered and died like that, but she is so in love with him she's not seeing how his indifference was so hurtful to her.

Right?? I rlly had high hopes when I saw the fl(well, at the beginning) was rlly intent on not connecting with the ml any shape or form and was rlly focused on just leaving. I was rlly impressed with the fact that she seemed really smart, she immediately wrote down the future that she knew, and even had a solid plan. But.. nvm. I thought she would be a little mad at the ml after finding out, but nope. OR at least the ml had a good reason. I'd say him being hypnotized is better than his reasons rn lol which aren't rlly reasons, which he himself even admitted, it was rlly just cuz of his pride. Even a little groveling was good.. but I felt like the author rlly wanted to highlight the fact that nobody is truly perfect(I mean, duh) and he had made some foolish mistakes because of his upbringing. And that he alrdy atoned more than enough by suffering.. I mean, I see that he rlly did suffer. Imagine going through a lot of dimensions and killing all monsters to the point that ur basically filled with demon energy(or magi iirc) that u urself become a demon king lol But would've nice for the fl to be angry at him a little bit.

The things he is aware of:
•He knew the priests insulted the fl(he got mad but did nothing lmao)
•Has seen the fl sleep on the bench with tattered clothes.. even though he was sending her money.. despite this, he didn't bother to investigate??? Okay so just a blockhead.
•When the fl touched him, he reflexively move her hand away, which made the fl a laughingstock by the knights but this dumb bitch did nothing.
So I'm definitely disappointed. Though I get his background definitely did some damage to him, which is why he acts this way. Basically, he was raised as a perfect holy priest(?? Or paladin), and that he didn't have any human desires. One priest was worried about him eventually discovering desires, but the ml didn't care until he met the fl which changed everything. He truly listed over the fl, and felt guilty about it. Do I think it's justifiable with how he acted towards the fl? Nope. Firstly, im a girls girl. The fl had nobody and nothing on her side. I get his backstory, but I don't quite pity him as much as the fl. She definitely deserves someone better, and I'm even shocked that she's laughing when the ml told him the story of him thinking he was cursed, when all along he was just horny. Like girly, u were SUFFERING and the man ur with is just dumb asf(understandable though), like damn ur just there laughing lmao idk definitely disappointed.
