If you look closely, the shadow is present on both the car scene and the hanging scene. That silhouette is Raymond, who saw the dead bodies as he was exploring. The hanging corpse was Linus, and the skeleton next to it was Connor.
This same hanging corpse is also the one William shot; William dealt the finishing blow to Linus

In the last chapter, I get that the ones in the car are William and his ''kidnapper'' (William probably shot himself as the kidnapper completely lost himself to the disease, since it seemed they were in love, they are even holding hands in death). But who was the one hanging? I suppose it was Linus and the shadow behind Connor? Or vice-versa? And I thought the owner of the restaurant was Danny from ''Slaying the monster'' but they restaurant's name is Barney, too bad that would have been a fun cameo xD
