read up until the season 2 finale and i’m so glad i gave this a read. it reminds me sooo much of oryu’s first work and this delivers just as good. i kept putting this off because i see plenty of comments saying that mc is stupid for going back to his ex and likeeee.. no not really. i can completely understand theo’s pov and how much a first love relationship can completely engulf you especially if it’s codependent. this is how theo sees gunner in all of their moments together in the present. he keeps on reminiscing about the good times they has together In The Past but acknowledges how fucked up and toxic it is now and chose to end it. yes, they keep on interacting with each other but it serves as another reminder to theo thar gunner is not who he used to be and he needs to let go. they’re so karmic lmfao. and i’m sooo happy that theo is finally moving on and closing that messy ass chapter to be with dylan. they both have their baggages but they choose to do better and are putting action behind it unlike gunner who’s all talk but is still selfish and immature in so many ways. how theo x gunner ended resonated with me so deeply like the emptiness, despair but relief to have it over. i’m a sucker for these kinds of situations lmfao it’s satisfying. i can’t wait to see dylan and theo spoiling each other cus that’s what they deserve!!!
