When he first encounters a shooting star on the rooftop with Jo, his instinct is to wake him up to see it. Maybe so Jo can wish on it as Jo had earlier said. And the earlier shooting star didn't whizz through Orion.
But when he encounters a shooting star in Chap 100 now, it shoots right through Orion--a constellation symbolizing, love, pain, grief and yearning through its mythology. A shooting star through all this? A chance to wish. An opportunity to reopen desires and wants.
YW is a very different person from who he was when he first sat under Orion that night with Jo. He's a very different person now as he looks up at that same sky. Just like he was a very different person by the campfire with Jo. And he's a very different person by this fire with TJ. His inner landscape has completely shifted, even if he's under the same sky and sitting in front of the same elements.
Could also be interpreted as carrying things forward from the past. Just as he carried his gang past in with Jo, he now carries his past with Jo on. And none of that means he's hung up on Jo. On the contrary, it shows how much he's evolved and changed. =) He's learnt what matters and what needs to be let go off...

I mean ian doesn't give a damn about jo .he had been waiting for tj to get out of prison and in that damn 2 years he never thought of jo ,if this that was the case he would have connected with jo and start a fresh because no one is stopping ian ,not even tj. I just feel really bad about tj how he spent his days thinking ian dumped his ass and went with jo. it's a lazy writing IMHO ,I mean you are telling me both of them never talked to each other in those 2 years.

But also, not that they were gonna get conjugal visits anyways during TJ's sentence. .Again, there's intentional blanks here maybe to let the audience interpret things.
My reading is that YW keeps in touch with Chiwoon during this time. Chiwoon hasn't seen the house YW has built for TJ, but he eitherways know that's where TJ is to be taken, and thatb YW is waiting on the other end.
YW uses those 2 years to quietly heal himself, and build a house for TJ. I think his choice to stay away from TJ during that time may very well be intentional, even if unpopular or not readily understandable. Maybe he does this for both of them. He allows himself to heal, and that gives TJ an opportunity also to heal (although admittedly, prison is a sucky place to heal in all honesty. But TJ isn't weak by any means and shows fortitude and grit throughout). Perhaps he needed that time and distance to truly work on himself, so that he can be prepared fully to embark on their ultimate journey together once TJ gets released. Something he makes a note of in his inner monologue in Chap 98 I believe. Notice how in the panel right before they kiss in Chap 99, TJ looks unsure and pauses. But YW looks sure now, and it's his hands that pull TJ in by the waist. He's crossed the dark night of the soul somewhat, even if never fully.
