Right! With how he's behaving I highly doubt he's sane or perfectly fine in the head. He seems to have an odd protective response towards anyone Guwon is killing regardless of whether that person is evil or not. In a world where survival takes priority how can you survive so long being so utterly naive.
Im pretty sure Jiwon is the sisyphus who cheated death in this story. With how oblivious he is to trickery and deception, he would have died in the first chapter if not for Guwon
