As someone who haven't read the novel, it's unfortunate that I can feel how lackluster and underwhelming this chapter was. It's bland. Maybe because I've read a lot of comments of novel reader's excitement for this scene so I also set up some expectations, but sadly that didn't live up to the hype. I just can't really feel the urgency, the desperation, and the emotions that should've come across with this scene. It's like watching a school roleplay
