i'm really liking this adaptation despite the small changes and the faster pacing. i like the art too, but i don't think it really captures the story properly. it's too soft. even in the scenes where he sees his own reflection, he just looks like a cute chubby boy, while in the novel you could really feel how disgusted he was by his own appearance.
