it’s a done deal, changing it after it’s supposed completion is just ruining the overall reader experience regardless of whether you dropped hints on the grandpa potentially being the antagonist, S5 reveals the execution is poorly done and the pacing is shit. author solidified the cutesy, lovey, yearning elements with the happy-ending to top it all off…i mean, they even got married ffs, and there wasn’t much of an antagonistic vibe about it since it literally just revolved around their lovestory throughout all 4 seasons lol i don’t get why they didn’t just create a new story that explored more mature, toxic, and explicit elements…
