I don't read novels, at least not until after I'm done reading the manhwa, because I don't like spoilers. but holy shit, he actually died? even though illic probably referred to the times he was with sayan suffocating, he also found it was the times where he truly felt loved— like these truths co-exist in the same plane. I can't believe sayan died without reciprocation, but I do know that even though there was no clear signs that illic showed that he loved him; he felt the love through his presence, and I think that's the closure he needed. I love this, this is peak. Their love will forever and always be timeless, and it will outlive the both of them.
