ykw, I've read the novel a long time ago, but even I have to admit the manhwa is confusing... it feels like they cut out a lot of important dialogue that is relevant to the plot/why they are each acting the way they are.. so I don't blame yall for being confused lmao I'm going to go back and reread now bc I can't remember wtf they're talking about here and I think that's just a failure of the manhwa tbh bc it was clear to me in the novel back then
