No Pity

I think people here are giving Youngjo a bit too much leniency, this man is a manipulator. He is actively pursuing a situationship as they call it with Han Garam for the sole purpose of making him quit if he doesn’t do it himself. Yes, a person can make their own decisions for themselves but when you are being emotionally manipulated by your partner to say that they don’t have a part in what happened is insane. Especially because this has happened multiple times, and correct me if I’m wrong has bragged about how easily he can do it in previous chapters. I really don’t have any pity for this man. I have a feeling something will cause him to change he’s plan because he is absolutely being more open with Han Garam. But I can admit he is a very well written character, and I love the writing of this story so much. Excited for the future chapters, thank you SAGEOFTHE6PACK's ♡

    Youngjo doesN’T want Garam to quit, he wants credit IF he loses
    1.Youngjo’s goal is to be back on the orchestra;
    2.The only person who can make this happen is Naeun(‘s aunt);
    3.If Garam fails, Naeun must believe it is thanks to Youngjo;
    4.If Garam quits, the plan will fail, so Youngjo gives him comfort, distraction and validation that he craves;
    5.Youngjo believes that people will come to resent and blame him for their choices no matter what he does and what his intentions are, because this has always been the case. In his eyes Garam will be just another addition to the list.
    Should he try, if the outcome will be the same? Should he account for the feelings of others when nobody ever cared about his? Should he be The Bigger person when no one else bothers? Do you see what Youngjo embodies?
    There are no “good people” or “villains” in this story, just “people”. Each of them is a victim of certain circumstances, like all of us are, but that in itself is not a virtue or a pass.
