fr fr virginity doesn’t matter in the slightest, but once major religions hit the scene the female body became taboo, and that “popping the cherry” was a prize to be taken, and that women were a commodity.. cultures that didn’t conform to these ideals were snuffed out by war and indoctrination.

most BL plots are also rooted in sexism and misogyny too, a lot of it internalized and not properly addressed by the authors themselves. as well as straight up homophobia by continuing to push stereotypes about queer relationships.. the best thing to do is prob just not engage with media that contains that, and read shit where the characters can form healthy relationship(s), and not blatantly push harmful narratives.

You also have to take into consideration that the "rape" plots are very prevalent in societies where sex is something to be hidden and is considered taboo to the public eye. A lot of Asian countries fetishize rape because what they really want is to be NEEDED physically, followed by emotionally.
These kinds of stories are basically people craving not just sex, but GOOD sex. Not a lot of people have actually experienced good sex with another partner, even though it definitely DOES exist. (Speaking from experience lol) While it doesn't need a big dick, it does need at least one person with a higher sex drive and more stamina, and unfortunately, that's usually the person that takes dick rather than gives it... since it does take more stamina to top.
I also like these types of stories BECAUSE they're fiction. It's interesting to see where the Author's mind has wondered, and how depraved both them and the Illustrator can be LOL I usually just compare it to myself, and use the stories as more of an "Oof.
