I think the professor and Youngjo are the embodiment of ambition and love in this part. I feel like they are the symbol of that. Which destructive ambition and unholy love, which one will Han Garam choose?
Forget about the semiotics, but when I saw Youngjo's character development, he was indeed a jerk and became a character who didn't understand what loyalty was. Everyone was loyal to him to the point of abandoning their dreams, even the violinist church kid risked his credibility in the church just for sex with Youngjo. But Youngjo never put his whole heart into them and kept playing around. Or maybe it was his way of having them all but being too selfish and making them all an outlet that your failed dreams had nothing to do with me, like mom.
That's why Han Garam is the main character in this role and plays a heroic role. I hope he can change Youngjo's habits and turn the professor's destructive ambition into a better one. Han Garam's pressure will become more intense I'm not ready
