It’s because Dane is the only one who has realized so far that Grayson isn't a bad person. He’s well-intentioned and loves to help, but since he’s neurodivergent, his attempts to help often cause more trouble than if he hadn't stepped in at all. And since he doesn't quite grasp that yet—and Dane isn't exactly the most patient person in the world—he cut straight to the chase and told him not to help, just to keep him from getting himself and the people he’s trying to assist into even more trouble.
Whaaaaaaat is happening right now??? I thought I was against Grayson...but this is just too much, I'll fight his father for that! (╬￣皿￣)
And why did dane just say "don't help"? I know he didn't do well but he did what he was trained to be seen as a help that pissed me off...
