If your anything like me I immediately thought “oh wow this is just a humiliation ritual”, and sadly, I was right, it doesn't get better from here. Immediately jumping into the story I realized “oh hes never going to actually win against his uncle in any scheme he tries” and because of that I was planning to get some info on if its actually going to stay in a never-ending cycle of the mc being repeatedly humiliated, and short answer; it is. If you look at the summary for this story, it word for word says, “ Ling Luxiao, wanting to use the opportunity to humiliate his uncle, gradually discovers his own submissive nature through his uncle's repeated punishments. He eventually becomes his uncle's loyal lapdog.” Like omg I hate when they make the ml in these kinds of stories always be three steps ahead, cocky, and claim that they care for the mc even though they repeatedly humiliate and torture them mentally and physically. Dont even give that bull that “oh his like experiences made him like this”, like no he seems to be very calculated and smart so he knows better. Realistically, the mc should have small victories here and there as well, it totally sucks that the ml will never be surprised and I dunno ‘amazed’ by how smart the mc can be. This story may be a cliche or just hella simple, but it still had potential to be a fun and good read if only they didn’t make everything so damn predictable but making the ml always be a non-chalant dih who somehow never makes mistakes when dealing with the mc’s scenes. Anyways not that it matters, but im dropping for my mental health because these kind of stories are the WORST tropes for me and make me feel so hopeless for the mc
