Peak 10/10 romance (not done yet) but it's frying me how everyone is some director, ceo, executive and our girl is just an employee what i liked is that they both relate to each other as high schoolers with a shit home and no background to speak of then boom my man is accomplished
Edit : ive finished it and i rate their highschool days a 10/10, the rest honestly i wouldn't be invested if it weren't for the first part so maybe 7-8/10. I don't give a shit about office politics and the glorification of the 996 type of lifestyle (i already work too much irl that's the last thing i wanna see)
Overall the characters were complex even the pathetic second ML, i'm in the minority but eh he was so wretched throughout the whole serie it was kinda sad to see. Man needed therapy
Some things were brushed off way too easily like the meal at the the house of the 2nd ml. What his mom did was diabolical and i never moved on lmao. Like even on the last chap it was on my mind. It just shows how the FL loves her mom. Working at the company of that hag is a literal humiliation ritual, esp with her son around, that guy was just a net negative altogether.
Also i know the second male lead more than the main ? Like the author spent so much time crafting this pathetic yet ignorant character. But the ML ? We know some stuff from the first part but after that besides FACTS (like what he is doing for a living and even that is confusing) and that he is down bad for her what else is going through his mind??
