This whole thing with the prince throwing a tantrum about how he's been "abandoned" by her is wild in regards to how easily he told her they'd need to annul their marriage. But homeboy spins around going "your so cold to me" but with the flashback, girliepop would run to this man always happy. If she had been cold during her childhood as she were in her current timeliness, then it'd be understandable. But this guy pulled a very insecure move of "all you had to do was say you still wanted me" which makes no sense with how he approached it, followed by how it's clear he would have to marry the other chick regardless of if she'd stay. This would mean she'd become the other woman. I'm guessing the whole "pride" thing is the lack of respect he has given her.
I did question why she never notice the refusal for her to be her family and how she did the majority of the crown prince's work, but based on how she was technically groomed into believing her worth with was tied to the prophecy, which is interesting and could've been explored a but more but they treat as "let me just think about this one thing real quick, and I'll move on" so there's that...
Pope rubbed me the wrong way. "I wanna make her mine" before officially meeting her and basically speaking in a condescending tone when he finally does meet her with his "I wanted to see what you'd do" and stuff about her worth as a puppet...
I'm worried about turning empress.
Stressed about fl's relationship with thr second prince since it's clear he adores her romantically, and it felt like she was using that to get the book or make him turn the other way...especially since he's 16. Why couldn't author write it so he saw her as the big sister, because he looks cute enough to be the sweet little brother.
Erisa's brother is hot. Nothing else to add to that.
And I forgot his name but the spy who worked with her in the palace. The fact that this guy was also showing a romantic interest concerned me knowing it'd never go anywhere so why. He's been groomed to be a killer so it would've been nice if he saw her as family instead. Not every relationship needs to be romantic.
