That i genuinely skipped over the sex scenes cuz i was so invested.
It really got into how rotten the corruption and injustice was, and how just looking the other way leads to letting horrible crimes and suffering fester.
And the title really was accurate. No matter how much ms Jo thought she controlled everything, she boiled down all these complex people into game pieces forgetting how strong people can get to survive, just like her.
And I love the main two characters, they really fought to just live peacefully.
Ahhhhhh I like these kinda plots. Plots that make me skip over the sex cuz so invested. Dreadful night also fell into that category
