Currently on ch150 of the novel and it was revealed that both of them r in their second life (bro may have had more but not yet confirmed) bro knew she knows the past but she doesn't towards him. Tho she's getting sus about him..
I must say- the novel is very open that what happened in their first life during his time being severely hurt is considered, one way or another, grape.
And tbh- bro's reaction towards FL death in their first life was okay- I didn't cry but I am somewhat satisfied.
ML after he has that moment with FL asked for excommunication so he can live with FL. He's already planning their future and stuff like that otw to get her to leave with him but ye, she died and bro went rampant and killed every living sh- he could get his hands on.
Ah- also, the story is hinting that ML ain't human anymore. He's like a demigod or a king for monsters cuz they follow him and he can cause rifts.
