I kind of hate how Soo won is just buddy buddy with everyone just like that even the advisor and general Joodoh is plain okay with Yona. How shallow it is that to achieve a mellowed outcome with letting soowon live just so the trio can have a moment it takes away the severity of Soowon and everbody's betrayal to Yona making it insignificant to the point that HAK can literally leave HER with THEM? Like it makes no sense that those people no doubt would've killed her if it wasn't for him and with no remorse at that, and now everything's just 180. I thought the author would be bold enough to push this kind of plot to a realistic endpoint where blood is really spilled and forgiveness isn't adjacent with all characters I had high hopes because a shoujo like this is a literal gold mine and really pushed through its sub genres though I really like how it fleshes the happy hungry bunch's self purpose as a person with ambitions and their own plans for their life. LOVED how Hak isn't just a bodyguard, but have dreams now of his own too that aligns with the groups goal for the betterment of the country, they thrive and strive to in their own way. Most of all in the next volume if happy endings is the author's idea of making everyone peaceful and alive then I damn well expect a fucking royal wedding, beach wedding, private wedding, elopment wedding for Hak and Yona all screen time or pages time rather be full of the couple making out or whatever, ending it with them having gazillion babies then having a christmas with the dragon uncles and Yoon to celebrate with for a fantastic closing chapter for this kind of slow burn that they deserve. I want mischievous Hak all over Yona cause they both earned that flirtatious scenes for a lifetime.
