Near the end of the novel revealed that the subspace was a gift from his grandmother who's already dead (ig) after he quit his company and drank with his friend (refers to chapter 1) he disappeared for 30 mins and was in toilet stall, he contemplated how ordinary life he has and was finding some amusement in his life and thats when his grandmother appeared beside him and console him as he sob to her on how ordinary his life has been and so the grandmother gave him the subspace to find the amusement he had been finding in his life, that's pretty much it.
Does anyone knows why he has the subspace?
