maybe i’m just the type of person who can’t get attached to a story or characters that easily but i think this story was just okay.
tbh, i didn’t gaf about the whole hybrid thing. i feel like the author just wanted to create conflict so they threw in the hybrid fetish. if they really wanted conflict, they should’ve explored more on the whole commitment issues subplot.
i personally don’t like kang or jin that much. for a man who is in his forties, i would say he’s pretty immature when it comes to identifying and communicating his feelings. like you’re telling me after all those relationships, you can’t tell a guy you like him? and honestly, maybe i should’ve just stopped reading but the story was pretty short. it was only 53 chapters so i decided to finish through. you had one guy break your heart so for the next twenty years, you decide to make it your whole personality. i get it, he has issues cus he can read other people’s minds but did he really have to string jin along? you’re telling me you couldn’t solve this without banging the guy everytime you saw him and then go on dates? i would’ve taken it more seriously if he wasn’t bouncing on that hybrid dick every chance he got.
and honestly jin. lowkey there’s gotta be a line for how dumb you can get. like you see a man constantly reject you and you think “oh if i just keep trying, he’ll come over eventually” ?? yeah yeah he’s a pushover who is always getting taken advantage of, yeah that’s his character. i cringed everytime he kept crawling back to kang even after such embarrassing rejections.
the brother is just embarrassing. i get he was overprotective but wow he really took the gangster character seriously with the whole background check. lowkey thought he was gonna crash his car into kang’s but ig even he isn’t that crazy.
literally the only redeeming character is the white furry friend. he can stay lol. i wouldn’t mind a spin off with him as the mc.
