I let this marinate for a bit and how are we only at like Square two. Like she hasn’t grown as a character at all so I can’t help but feel frustrated. Also with this new development in the story, like damn why are we back at where we started. Likeeee ex husband is STILL in the picture and wants her and older brother is still tryna mess with her. I don’t know why, but for some reason I also just can’t develop that sense of protectiveness (?) with the FL that I can with other MCs in other stories. Like I hate the ex for what he’s done but why is it that he has a more interesting character than the FL (imo)???
