Shuraka is so much messed up in his mind. I don't know what got him thinking that he needs to separate tei from anything related to leracal...maybe his fucked up childhood. Tei is so much mature than him...but he's also stuck between proving his worth as the formar leracal warrior and also serve shuraka as his bride. His mother's marriage has huge impact in his also and for that he sometimes kinda seems helpless though. For me shuraka seems kind of a grey character. Just like any other hero he also is creating distance and doubt between them in the name of protection...keeping tei away from everything.
I hope their communication will get better in next season. They jumped right into the marriage without filling that 12 yr gap. Shuraka really needs to let tei enter in his world fully. Maybe he'll learn in the hard way that keeping him away might make things worse for them.
