A 10-12 year old ? Dont tell me you are as dumb as those you mentioned “a child” at those age and don’t know how to listen to adult’s instructions? Her enthusiasm also does not make sense nor align with her character setting either.
Thats my POV and I have the freedom to note down my POV here just like everyone else’s. You are free to click thumbs down if you disagree, but straight away call someone dumb out of nowhere, I guess you won’t mind if I call you the same then. Dumb as hell too.
Literary explanation: The author at the start of the manga uses coco to give us context of magic so as coco is learning we are learning too so as to keep the world building structural and coherent, her enthusiasm is used to build on it and making it endearing.
In story explanation: coco had always loved magic and had been told she couldn’t possibly be a witch - now that she is introduced to witch hat atelier she is more enthusiastic to learn about magic to save her mother. As well as that being a child would most likely mean that she unconsciously distracting herself through magic and repressing it, we see moments where coco thinks about her mother, it’s also important to note that she’s not dead she’s in stasis and through the story we can see ways in which she could reverse the spell. I’d argue that without her focusing on herself to get better and being enthusiastic it would stunt her growth and is a uniquely important characteristic that is given to her respectively as we don’t see anyone as ambitious as her really in the story.
Yeah I don't lol. And like you said, anyone is free to put down their pov here, and in my pov? You're dumb. Any adult who dislikes a child for their actions are stupid. Like imagine hating a kid whose still having a hard time understanding the world and making decisions. You're the adult here, or the older one, so act like one.
And yes, that's a child. 10-12 years old is a child, what are you on? Stupid as hell. And her enthusiasm doesn't make sense? Clearly you don't know how children think. She's enthusiastic because she's young. Do you expect her to be depressed forever? To just live and spend her whole life depressed? We can clearly see she's having a hard time with what she's done, unless you read with your eyes closed? She's a child for gods sake, that should be enough to understand that even if she makes mistakes, it's understandable because she's young. And she has every right to enjoy her life.
If you think I'm just making excuses, then you're dumb as hell again. All Coco has ever done is repent. Everyday, every night, she repents for what she's done. We might not see that everytime, but we can the way she always works hard to try and save her mother. Did we not just see that in the recent chapters? And in the first place, it's not an easy task to save her mother. Literally her only clue is the tower of tombs or something.
You should learn to talk like Erwins (the one comment before you), commentary is about discussion, not starting arguments as if you are full of morals. Dumb people really are dumb people. Not only you are delusional, you are also dumb. Learn to mind your own business. If you think you are a good enough to lecture, try be a teacher? Or a better parent? Or maybe just go back to school and start picking up moral values instead? I don’t even want to discuss anything with you about the story either, because you are too dumb to understand either. Have a great day day ^^

Yeah the story concept is unique and beautiful but… I don’t think I am the only one who doesn’t like Coco at beginning… she is only thinking about herself and more excited about magic than saving her mother at some point. (Yeah, I know some people might hate me for this lol)
