Agree....and majority of the people fail to realise it cause of all the grape... Thinking that the author is condoning it when it's far from the truth. And those notes really annoyed me not gonna lie cause like you said there are many ways to experience a story. But I'm glad I'm not the only one who loved the characters and the story.
Say wtv tf you want but was really interesting in many ways. We have two people super lonely: one knows he has nothing and is so insecure about it that he is huge jerk to mask it, the other very unstable who has to keep proving himself to get access to honest and unconditional love despite being well off. The combo is strange, very toxic yet you can't look away. They're miserable but always honest in it. They have more character depth than many manhwas out there which makes this a captivating read. Thank you for the funny notes translator but there are many ways to experience this.
