Yeah, I've definitely read stories like that and I immediately drop it. and honestly, the whole omegaverse genre is problematic as a whole. Reading stories in that genre is one of my guilty pleasures. In many ways, it dehumanizes the omegas, reducing them to sexual objects or babymakers that need to be taken care of by alphas. That's why I like the alpha x alpha tropes because it levels the playing field and it doesn't put one person in a position of power over the other, but once it becomes a alpha x omega pair, I quickly lose interest.

When im reading an omegaverse story specifically with alpha x alpha or omega x omega or any x beta and they do some gender magic shit to turn them into a typical alpha x omega pair it feels so fuckin odd.
Feels the same as saying those relationships arent worth writing on or arent valid unless they are the social standard/ can produce kids. Its like repackaged homophobia but coming from the author. Puts me off real hard cuz its never the top turning into an omega either, always the bottom even tho they both start out as dominant alphas.
