I recommend joining a game jam! I have terrible procrastination problems so knowing I only have a week to code a game forced me to sit down and do it. While the code was messy and what I completed was basic, it proved that I could make something if I wanted to and gave me to motivation to keep learning!

The game jam was also great for getting feedback from other ppl, something u don’t often get when learning to code.
