probably bc they're not bullies in a sense that they beat people up unreasonably? like you can see they're just kids trying to look cool. when the mc humiliate that psycho-wannabe, most bullies wouldn't tolerate that and fight back with violence, but that psycho-wannabe was immature enough to go through with the punishment just to look cool and suffer the consequences for it, that's why it's hard to hate-HATE them ig
i used bullying bc i didnt really know how to describe that group other than that without using a bunch of other words lol like
“that group of people trying to bullying mc but failed at bullying mc but still kept trying to test her but still failed”
Honestly i find it really weird, normally id hate characters like the ones bullying mc, but bc of mc’s unbothered reaction to it all i didnt really hate any of them?
i think it’s interesting how whatever i read my opinion of side characters relate to their relation to the mc of the story.
