Oh my god, never stop speaking please. Genuinely, this is such a big issue that NO ONE speaks about because its such an uncomfortable space of individuals that enjoy seinen slop--but it needed to be addressed.
I don't really read or watch straight romance, but the same goes for a lot of action, fantasy and other stories.... Women often have huge breasts and are dressed in the most revealing clothes ever, lmao. I just try to avoid that kind of stuff as much as possible, but yeah, it's annoying.
exactly. the men will be in all sizes and shapes, ugly pretty handsome tall short but the women are copy pastes of each other with big boobs and small waist. men will be given cool armor but women will be given 'armor' that barely protects their genitals. i just drop them at that point. a good recc is the real estate developer where women are really well drawn (the bar is so low ik)

and the mc is always the most basic, ugly trashy guy and the plot is always a harem ("I took revenge on my bullies") and rape rape rape rape. oh yes and the women always look like children.
seinen slop is truly the most disgusting and lowest tier to all romance manwhas, be it shoujo, shounen or josei. it shouldnt even be called romance. seinen is just horrible bc its catered to men. i genuinely get so disgusted when i see seinen slop on my feed like..
and im saying this as a bisexual woman. dont get me wrong, i love me some boobies but the way theyre so grossly over sexualised and the women are treated as commodities grosses me the FUCK out. this shows the problem isnt with finding women attractive, since i feel that too. ITS WITH MEN and their disgusting fantasies.
(fyi: no hate to the men who consume shounen OR any type of rare seinen that is actually good and where the women and men are treated as EQUALS.)
