I guess lol. Should have picked a different time for their first kiss tbh. I reread the novel just now again and it still made me annoye, esp when he clearly said that at this time he only wanted "comfor" from paula hahaha.
Its the scene I kinda hated the most. He didnt say he like her and just hit it off. And because paula is just a maid, even if its implied that he likes her, its not like she can refuse him and yes i know theres budding romance/heat between them. Its just that I find it off. They were so vulnerable here so of course they would go with the flow.
Kind of ruined the slow burn romance they had.
