love this, it almost reads like a mythological tale at times
also one thing i did notice abt the skin tones, the most important and non-antagonist characters seem to be light skinned. now this is probably just the authors unconscious bias, and not deliberately done. I do wish MC was at least tanned, or more (non-background/antagonist) characters were darker skinned.
