I hope Geumryang will have a way to just give his divinity or life force or whatever to the twins when Taesung passes on. I mean I know he hopes to meet Taesung again in his next life but what if he waits so long? And what if that didn't happen?
Initially, he was meant to pass away if not Taesung saved him. Now that the kids are there, he already fulfilled his purpose and that the kids will just decide whether they want to continue protecting the mountain or live their lives as a human. Idk I hope it just ends that way coz it's kinda heartbreaking to see Geumryang saying goodbye to Taesung on his deathbed ╥﹏╥
