hate what happened to the author and cliff, wish the punishment wasn't domestic abuse bcos there's no recovering from that. 1) I don't think women ever deserves that, if a girl must be punished let it be in other ways but never by the hand of a man 2) I don't think cliff was ever really "hopeless" until the ending, there's no excusing that.
