The writing is very decent, it's clear the author wants to cause discomfort to the reader. Would I call this bl? Personally no. It's no 'boys love', it's 'boy love'. One mentally unwell man who falls in love with a straight serial killer. The concept of a stalker x killer is really sexy on its own, but this is not that. If you like really messed up characters being explored through fiction, I suggest reading this. My only criticism is that some of the smut feels out of place and not fit for what the story is trying to tell. A lot of the smut plays with the horror, but some of it was not needed and can cause confusion when reading.
