Bro that's messed up if you want it to be like that. Wooyeon looked too young during those times Dohyun was tutoring him. Thinking "I'm waiting for this kid to grow up" is exactly what will make people call him a predator. It's a whole lot different if Dohyun just started liking him this time, not only because he looks older, but he isn't a minor anymore, so feelings like that surfacing is understandable and what makes their age gap acceptable.

Not "oh I'm waiting for this lil kid to grow up to be with him" in the predatory way, I just thought he liked him a little during their tutoring days in an innocent way, and that's why dohyun went away without saying a word to him for years (even tho he said it's bc wooyeon liked him and he couldn't reciprocate?) and that's why he ended up liking wooyeon faster this time, bc he already had a place in his heart for him when they were young (but yeah I get the predatory aspect of it, I just like when a couple always had a soft spot for each other, like friends to lovers, and I feel for wooyeon finding out dohyun liked yoonwoo, I'm sure it'll take a toll on him)
if i remember correctly, i don’t think he likes him like that he just see him as a kids that he have to tutor and spy on for yeon mother. Cuz he feels like he owns her a favor. That why he left for so long. But he didn’t like him until college
