Kdramas don't always follow the source material... That's why I prefer to read the original work.
That is actually understandable but in throw case, they actually have false information which changes tbe entire narrative. The kdrama made me think Hanwool stabbed the teacher by himself and he was also arrested for her murder; meanwhile the one who actually murdered someone and was arrested for it was his trigger-happy friend who loved guns but that was never put into play.
It changes the entire plot. If I hadn’t read the first season of the manhwa, I wouldn’t have known his Dad was the actual mastermind behind the teacher’s death. That’s why I posted my comment cos I felt I was mistaken or something.
Yea I didn't watch the drama but I'd assume either they are trying to do a red herring or they don't want to follow the webtoon too closely. Actually the webtoon also had me disliking hanwool at first and thinking he must be involved with the stabbing. So it may really just be a plot twist and the drama hasn't revealed it yet. Unless they already did but it still feels like hanwool did it then that's kinda a bummer.
I watched the drama too... It's not confirmed hanwool killed the teacher. It's only an implication.
In the kdrama, it was confirmed that he did it and murder was even one of the charges mentioned by the cops when he got arrested in the end.
I don’t get it. I started reading this because of the kdrama and I just finished season 2. The kdrama made it seem like Hanwool killed Ms. Junghwa Oh but in the manhwa he implied that his Dad ordered the hit and he wasn’t aware of it?
Am I just misunderstanding something? I want to start reading season 2 but since there would be a season 2 of the kdrama, it’s best to wait until it airs to avoid ruining the experience
