I haven’t read it, but usually the difference between American English and British English is just the spelling of things. British English has more vowels in it usually. And sometimes there’s small differences in what things are called like chips/crisps or cookies/biscuits

the use of mate and other british colloquialisms, i wasnt saying it was a bad thing but in my head its more difficult to comfortably read because i end up giving the characters british accents unconsciously. im sure if your british or if english isnt your native language or if youre just not picky like me reading this translation is no issue
