Because kaizen, desire scans, and myth toons are all AI scanlations and it’s annoying as shit having 3 people uploading the same slop over each other. Half the time the translations are so bad you can’t even read the story. I always look for Jujucat, bloomingdale, or kaoru. I know the translations will be perfect if they’re uploading. They’re the real goats
if I may ask, is there a difference between mtl translations and ai translations? I've heard both terms being thrown around b4.
and also, how do u know if smt has been mtl/ai translated? just wanna know for peace of mind (=・ω・=)
That's quite an accusation to make though, I have also heard a something similar about desire scans using ai for their translations
At least for me you can easily tell if something is mtl/Ai is if it doesn't have 'Offical chapter' in the title, not all (since ik Seph along with some people don't use it all the time) but most of the time it's either Ai generated slop, another person trying to translate for the first time or a person using mtl.
And if the uploaded chapter has no name for who uploaded it, it's most likely also mtl/ai but just from another website that the mangago bot took it from (i could be wrong about this).
Another thing is, if you pay close attention, you'll notice that the names or pronouns will sometimes have slight changes from how it looks in the official chapters. Like the mc will all of a sudden be referred to as 'she' instead of 'he' or other way around.
You'll also know, if the person who uploaded the chapter has 'scans' in their name.. since they usually don't translate the korean text (like moans and/or little gestures) into English, they'll just leave it and along with their ai logos all over the chapter and like what the other person said, they are horrible at translating. Also sometimes their quality is bad compared to actual people who uploaded like jujucat.
There are still a lot of other reasons but for me those are the main ones
omg thanks ive noticed that a lot of manhwas r now being uploaded by those 3 groups and did notice the poor quality (i even saw desire upload on Passion instead of the usual uploader, and holy shit the quality was so much worse). comments kept saying they were ai translated and I was wondering how they knew.

Nothing ruins my day more than finding a new story just to see kaizen as an uploader. Dude just stop.
