I can only speak from an older sister's perspective to four younger siblings, I doted on my siblings to the point that I barely had money left over to spend on myself and yet I'd do it again. So the older brother never getting her a birthday gift made me give this guy the stink eye and the fact he never gave her any attention was wild. He doesn't even spend time with her.
And the dad saying it was his first as a parent like he ain't got a whole ass grown son was bs, especially with how he got worried for him. Like no bestie, you're just a shit dad.
And the whole thing of how she barely spoke and left the dinning table would had me locking eyes wondering if my own sibling was sick, then I'd sneak in some of their fav greasy takeaways. So the mother failed, the father failed and the oldest brother failed.
All in all, the family is terrible. I get the two younger kids being doted on by FL and I understand it becomes draining taking care of them (since we keep seeing her care for the sick sister), so I can't fault the kids, but how are these parents treating her to the older sister curse when's he ain't even the first child. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
And don't get me started on that quack of a family doctor. The fact that his master pointed out how he could tell at a glance she was ill, and the documents he left was something he chose to ignore. What kind of doctor projects his dead sibling on a patient while blatantly ignoring the rest of the family, when said doctor is the family's doctor.
I even doted on my sister's friends and would treat them like I do her.
P.s. stop at like chap 96 and canonically imagine a happy life if you don't wanna be saddened with the rest of the story. Don't do it, babe, you're susceptible to sad stories so don't do it.
