If i want to read yhe novel after i read the manga what chapter should i start from

It's probably chapter 40 in novel

I read the novel, I'd say just read it from the beggining... these are the first few chapters and the novel give some insight on Varkas' thoughts (not sure if its on the first few chapters but its totally worth it)
