It's a hen and egg problem. What came first? Ppl actually believing that non-consent is consent "as long as both parties enjoy it at the end" or the stories that repeat this shitty trope over and over again until ppl believe it's true...

Glad, that you didn't fall for it though! You wouldn't believe how many ppl have already attacked me for pointing out and complaining about non-consent and grape, with gems like "it's only a story, one is not supposed to learn anything from stories anyway." Come again? What do they think bedtime stories are for? They shape our morals and our understanding of the world. It doesn't stop once one reads stuff for older ppl. I think it's esp. harmful when in otherwise super greenflag stories the wishes of the partner gets suddenly completely ignored in the bedroom. Why do they always need to destroy perfectly fine green flag stories?!? Is it too much to ask to see both partners be into it from beginning to end? No is supposed to mean no for a reason. (Sorry for ranting, it's just so damn frustrating)
