Ah fuck this was such a nice read i could almost cry, it's a read where I genuinely feel immersed and remember the characters names. I originally came from the older Seme tag and of course didn't expect much.
However I was greeted with a ML who seemed different from other type of MLs, not cocky or weird, just awkwardly humble, the slow burn was really felt when all he wanted was for the good of his employee Okamura, and like it didn't feel weird that he was younger. It almost started off like a bromance but developed slowly, no misunderstandings because the ML didn't even think too much into them or fault MC or even distance from MC.
Their relationship was build from a place of genuine respect and kindness for another, so freaking sweet I could die. Also love how the age gap wasn't like predatorised cause sometimes Authors make the age gap a problem in these, glad they didn't in this, it felt so naturally cute cus I wasn't focusing on that part but rather how Okamura started opening up more, like I get u Motokawa. It's also nice bc you can see there is definitely a age gap with Motokawa looking old but he didn't let it get to him and authors repeat this narrative of oh im old and not for you but I'm so happy to see that wasn't a case, he is a very admirable and confident guy which reinforces his role in the office place and this relationship with Okamura of leading him also with confidence!!!
