Pilaf tries to use his family’s treasure to like make Deborah impressed or scared so she would want to marry him. But he accidentally traps her inside it with Isidore. They manage to get out after a while but her father had pilaf thrown out of the capital and high society on the condition that if he shows up again he would be killed.
